dirty laundry, features and a reminder

It was Saturday night.  I didn’t have any clean panties.  So, I went to my closet and put together a load.  I was feeling a little light headed and weak.  Must.do.laundry.    I proceeded to put the load in the washing machine.  Once I sat down on the couch, I decided to take my temperature.  100!  I knew I wasn’t well.  Luckily, Mr. Hines witnessed all of this.  So, I asked him if he would dry the clothes for me, since I wasn’t feeling well.

The next day, after having slept until the afternoon, I was ready for my clean underwear.  I asked Mr. Hines  if he dried the clothes.  He had.  I walked out of our bedroom to go get a pair of panties from the dryer.

As I passed through the living room, this is what I saw.

The towels that had to be taken out of the dryer in order to dry my clothes, sitting in a pile on the kitchen counter.  :)  I didn’t ask.

The bright side is, I got help with the laundry, and I’m wearin’ clean panties.

On to more exciting topics, I’d like to remind you that my Show & Tell  goes live at midnight tonight.

While we are waiting for that party to start, why don’t I go ahead and show you some of the links from last week’s party.

Olga did a great job with her hallway update.

Love those stripes!

Linda’s entry makeover belongs in a magazine!

and, I love this window that Little Bit used in her Master bath.

I hope you will check out these ladies on their blogs.

The talent all of you have is unbelievable!  I’m always oohing and aahing at your projects.  So, put the finishing touches on your creations, and get ready to link up to this week’s Show & Tell party!  The more, the better!

  1. Thank you Sharon, for featuring my bathroom interior window. I’m so new at blogging, it’s super exciting to have successfully written and taken a pictures in a format that’s pleasing and encouraging to others. (The picture taking part is frustrating me as of late, but I’m determined to learn!) Little Bit from DecorateWithaLittleBit.com

  2. You are very welcome!

  3. Hi Sharon,
I joined the party but can’t seem to pick up your button to put it on my blog! I am fairly new to blogging and use blogger so maybe I am doing something wrong – I didn’t want you to think I didn’t read the instructions….LOL

  4. Hi Peggy! Thanks for letting me know. The directions I’m giving you are how it works through WordPress, but I would imagine the process/language is similar. Inside you post, click on the icon for adding an image. Select “from URL”, then in the url address line, enter the image address from my button. (Right click on the button to select the “copy image address”). Then, right click on the image again and select “copy image” and paste that into the line that says ‘link to image’. Hope that works. If not, you can add a text link back to the party. That’s fine too.
