The “teen” stuff…teen heartthrob- “If I Was Your Boyfriend” singin’- Justin Bieber posters..represent!, the must have peace sign, the groovy moon chair and the funkadelic five arm lamp.

And then the room makeover stalled for awhile.  It just didn’t live up to my vision…something was missing.  I know!  I need to steal these media towers from the “media” room and put them on either side of the bed.

So, I got busy emptying the shelves and dragging the towers down the hall and into their new home.  LOVE!

My daughter was afraid they’d make the room feel small, but to the contrary, the way the shelves expand across the wall on either side of her bed really gives the room a larger feel.  Yessss!

And here’s the mess I left behind in the media room…oh, except for the girl…she’s not part of the mess.

I’ve got my work cut out for me when I redo this room….that’s a whole ‘nother post.

Let’s focus on one room at a time, shall we?  The owl is a lamp and poor Pooh, he just can’t sit up straight.

but we still like our Pooh and our pillow pal. Shhh!  Keep that on the down low.

Here’s the “floor lounge” (I just made that up)  to sit and listen to music, or read (sure!) and daydream about boys…

and we even have an all-important message wall…to keep track of notes and phone numbers and parties.

Do you think this “drop zone”will get used?  Don’t answer that.
