One year ago today, I wrote my very first post.
Well, it is too late to be up, but that’s not the kind of late I’m talking about. I’m talking about the kind where you think there is nothing else you can do or you’ve waited too long. I decided to adopt the “It’s Never Too Late” motto when I turned 40. That was two, now almost three, years ago. Why? Because it really is never too late.
I guess it was a couple of years ago now, when my husband pressed send on an online test, and he asked me to pray that he would get a good grade. I said something to the affect of, “Okay, but, its done. You’ve answered the questions. You can’t change them. Your grade is your grade.” So, days go by and he gets his grade back with a note from the instructor. She said he originally received a (fill in the blank with a low grade ’cause I can’t remember what it was), BUT, that she had made an error in some way and gave him additional points, which brought his grade up to where it needed to be. So, little miss smarty pants, that’s me, was proven wrong. I was never so delighted at being wrong. It made me truly believe that nothing is impossible!
Fast forward to 4:oo a.m., July 29th, 2011. I’m sitting on my couch writing my first blog ever…something I have imagined doing for a few years. I’m very excited about this. It feels good to write and not just save it to my computer for no one to ever see. That’s a frustrating feeling when you feel like you’ve got things to share. I’m looking forward to sharing many more thoughts with you….come back soon!
I’m so glad I embarked on this blogging journey. Along the way, I have made some very real friends. I’ve even met a few of you in person. As for the rest of you, don’t be surprise if I show up at your door one day.
I didn’t know then exactly what mrs. hines class would be, and in some ways that is still to be determined. Even so, I’m very proud of what mrs. hines class has been over the last year. I can’t wait to see what this next year brings.
Thank you so much for your comments, encouragement, support and for coming back again and again.
Until next time,
