refinishing and repurposing furniture

Last summer as I searched the classifieds for a coffee table for my home, I noticed how many there were for sale.  Some of them were priced just right for resale.  So, I decided to buy one on the cheap, refinish it and sell it.

A year later, it is still sitting in my garage.  I did at least dig it out from under the pile it was buried under.

Now I’m thinking about using it in my living room and turning the existing coffee table into a desk for my daughter.

We have a built in desk that serves as a command center, but I think my daughter needs her own space for homework.

Homework and making lunches are the two things I’m not looking forward to with the start of the new school year.

Anyway, I’m planning to dust off my paintbrush and get to work next week while my daughter is in school.

I’ll keep ya posted.

Until next time,
