He says all dishes should be served year round. She says certain meals are seasonal.
For example, chili, chicken and dumplins and soup are perfect dishes for the Fall. And so, with the cooler temperatures this week, it was time to cook a savory pot of taco soup.
If you can open cans, you can make this soup.
Gather your ingredients:
1lb of ground meat
1 can each of: ranch style beans, pinto beans and red kidney beans
1 can each of: corn, rotel and diced tomatoes
1 package of powdered Ranch mix and 1 package of taco seasoning.
Directions:
~Brown the meat
~add packaged seasonings and mix well,
~pour in canned ingredients and stir.
~Let the soup come to a low bubble,
~then turn down the heat and simmer for about 30 minutes.
It’s one of our family favorites, and a hit with friends, too. Be ready to share the recipe!
