The inspiration for my kitchen decor is the warm wood tones and rustic color palette of French Country design.

  2. Absolutely beautiful! I love the rich and creamy colors in your kitchen and your touches are gorgeous.

  3. I have no clue what the style of my kitchen is…because of the roos I like to call it French Country too. But really I think it is a eclectic mix, of Rustic, Country, Spanish and French. Your kitchen is wonderful, I love the lay out too. Cute family photo.

    • I think of your kitchen as French country because of the roos and the color palette. But you’re right, it has eclectic elements that make it very Debbiedoo!

  4. Your kitchen is so pretty! Love all your pretties too.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

Pretty kitchen Sharon….!!…you’ve got the French Country feel down pat!!….
I guess you would call my kitchen “traditional”…boring I know…I think I need to come up with another description that’s hip…how’s “Trendy Trad”…..

  6. Love your French kitchen! My favorite is the back splash. You did a wonderful job.

  7. Love your kitchen but your makeover ideas do sound exciting! I have some dreams for my kitchen but right now I think mine is just eclectic! haha! I look forward to watching your progress.

    • I guess now that I’ve told the world, I really have to do something. I think I’ll start small with the cabinet hardware…maybe that will conquer my fear of the bigger plans.

  8. Yay! A kitchen remodel! I suppose my kitchen is a little bit french country, a little primative and a lot eclectic. LOL I have natural cherry cabinets with antiqued pewter hardware and a distressed painted wood peninsula/island. I have the dark countertops, too.

Based on personal experience, it’s work, but so worth it. You have a great foundation going for you already and with your talents, I know it will be stunning when all is said and done. One of my favorite parts is adding all of the accessories, so I envy you the little shopping trips and upcycle projects that lie ahead. I can’t wait to see how it all progresses! BTW, I love that wire cloche. Is it a one of a kind treasure?

Have a blessed day, Sharon. See you at the party! ~Mary

  9. Your kitchen is so pretty, warm and inviting! Mine is Farmhouse/Cottage and whatever I feel like throwing in there at the moment ;) LOL

  10. Sharon that is the cutest pic!! I love it!

Your kitchen is lovely. I have always thought of my kitchen as a mix of modern and English styles. :-) xo

  12. Hi Sharon, Love your kitchen, and it is so very you. Mine is a real clutter of primitive collections. I would like to have less. I am thinking of glass cabinet doors in my laundry room which is my back door entry. This would give a brighter look with all the cabinets I have in there. Have fun with the redo, sound good.

  13. Sharon,
    Love your kitchen, very pretty.
I’m really not sure what style of kitchen I have at the moment. I’ve been wanting to change the tile counter-tops out for some time now. What am I going for~not really sure yet. I would like more of an earthly tone to match our concrete stained flooring, right now I have white tile, which I do not like. I guess you could call my kitchen country/traditional style. Is there such a style?
The kitchen is on my to do list~you know, the ever growing list.
I look forward to seeing what all you do to your kitchen.

Oh I love your kitchen, and yes I totally adore your wire cloche and frenchy wine vignette. How about some faux cheese and grapes under it, or fruit. Of course I think anything looks amazing under a cloche. Your redo sounds so fun, however I think your kitchen is stunning the way it is. Can’t wait to see what all you do. Thanks tons for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
