a family favorite casserole dish

Dinner is ready.  I hope you like it. We’re having Parmesan Crusted Tilapia with Arkansas Green Beans and Au Gratin Potato Casserole.

This casserole dish is a favorite in our household and it’s always a crowd pleaser with family and friends.

Au Gratin Potato Casserole

This casserole is a favorite with crowds.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb frozen hash browns (grated)
  • 3/4 cups melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 10oz cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 2 cups crushed corned flake

Directions

Step 1
defrost hash browns
Step 2
Combine potatoes and 1/2 cup of butter in a large bowl
Step 3
Add salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream, cheese and blend well
Step 4
Pour mixture into buttered 3 quart dish
Step 5
mix remaining butter with crush corn flakes and sprinkle over top
Step 6
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes

    • I hope you get to enjoy the potatoes. We really liked the green beans and fish too. It was our second time to have the green beans..first for the fish.
