Back in November, I put together a Home Tour for Debbiedoo’s House Tour series. I thought I’d share it with y’all today. But don’t get to used to anything you see.
There’s a saying about Houston weather, “If you don’t like the weather, just wait a minute. It’ll change.” Well, the same holds true for my home decor. In fact, by the time I had sent this post to Debbie, I had already made some changes. As you can imagine, by now, a whole three months later, lots has changed. So I’m sharing this tour with you today as more of a “Before” than a showcase of my home.
Front porch in the Fall.
Why don’t you go ahead and follow me into the kitchen and we’ll start our tour there.
I love that the kitchen is open to the breakfast room.
The command center has its own little nook just off of the kitchen.
And the laundry room is just behind the door on the end.
The dining room is conveniently located across from the kitchen.
Let’s go through the living room
and down the hall to the bedrooms.
This bathroom is the first door on the left. It serves as both our daughter’s bathroom and the guest bath/powder room.
Just next door is our daughter’s bedroom.
and the door on the end leads into the master suite.
There is a third bedroom at the opposite end of the hall. I’m working on turning it into a teen lounge.
And that is was my home. I didn’t even bother to show you the third bedroom that functions as a teen lounge for my daughter and her friends. It’s a very confused space with an identity crisis. But, help is on the way! I’ll keep you posted.
See in you in class,
Mrs. Hines Class

Beautiful!!
Thank you, Donna.
Your home tour was magnificent. I know what you mean about waiting just a minute and things will change. Same here:)
I’d love to stop changing things. That’s my goal this year…to get things arranged in a way that I won’t get tired of so quickly. And to have things I won’t get tired of so quickly. I got rid of a bunch of stuff during January. Here’s hoping.
Very pretty Sharon.
Thank you, Tami.
I enjoyed the tour of your beautiful home, Sharon. The same holds true at our home. Changes seem to happen with the blink of an eye.
I love your home, Pat. You have such a great sense of style!
Always fun to see someones home, I love house tours!! Can’t wait to see your changes. Spring is right around the corner and that is always a good time to make new and fresh changes, Happy Monday,
Kathysue
I’m going to make my home go from pretty to GREAT. And you’re the inspiration.
What a lovely home you have, so inviting! I would love to have you link up to my new party, Project Inspire{d} ~ you would be my first home tour link. It’s not a huge party, this is the first week (oh my!).

Your house is gorgeous Sharon. I need to take some hints on mastering the art of editing! Thanks for sharing! ~Tammy
