a home tour

Back in November, I put together a Home Tour for Debbiedoo’s House Tour series. I thought I’d share it with y’all today. But don’t get to used to anything you see.

There’s a saying about Houston weather, “If you don’t like the weather, just wait a minute. It’ll change.”  Well, the same holds true for my home decor. In fact, by the time I had sent this post to Debbie, I had already made some changes.  As you can imagine, by now, a whole three months later, lots has changed. So I’m sharing this tour with you today as more of a “Before” than a showcase of my home.

Why don’t you go ahead and follow me into the kitchen and we’ll start our tour there.

Just next door is our daughter’s bedroom.

There is a third bedroom at the opposite end of the hall.  I’m working on turning it into a teen lounge.

And that is was my home.   I didn’t even bother to show you the third bedroom that functions as a teen lounge for my daughter and her friends.  It’s a very confused space with an identity crisis.  But, help is on the way!  I’ll keep you posted.

See in you in class,

  1. Beautiful!!

  2. Your home tour was magnificent. I know what you mean about waiting just a minute and things will change. Same here:)

    • I’d love to stop changing things. That’s my goal this year…to get things arranged in a way that I won’t get tired of so quickly. And to have things I won’t get tired of so quickly. I got rid of a bunch of stuff during January. Here’s hoping. :)

  3. Very pretty Sharon.
