With some rearranging, a mixture of old and new and a little DIY, the teen lounge is now both a fun and functional hangout.
It’s a great place to kick off your shoes, sit back and relax.
It’s my daughter’s landing-place after school each day. Once she walks through that door, she’s in teenage heaven; her very own Narnia where she gets to escape the drama of Junior High School.
Imagine having a room where you’re surrounded by childhood keepsakes, memorabilia and inspiration.
I remember the teen lounge in my childhood home. It was a room addition that my Dad built with his own two hands. I recall feeling like it was my home away from home, my own private world. Privacy is everything to a teenager.
I think in their world privacy equals freedom. Freedom to turn up the music and sing your heart out.
Freedom to daydream.
Freedom to play.
Freedom to try new things
Thanks to Lamps Plus, this room will be all of those things to my daughter.
It’s a teenage dream.
Wall decor is a mixture of prior purchases and DIY.
See you in class,
