Still need some Mother’s Day gift ideas? Here are several easy ideas you can pull off even at the last minute:
No need to break out the china for this casual affair. Decorative ball jar glasses will do just fine. Straws add an extra measure of cuteness to these already whimsical glasses.
I felt like a kid showing off my latest drawing as Mom admired my handiwork, saying “These look like something from Southern Living.” That is what I call making the big-time friends.
DIY food labels add an extra touch to the casual buffet setting.
Make mom feel special with a personalized message. Making your own chalkboard is super easy.

Did you see Barb’s beautiful centerpieces in the video?
Speaking of Barb, doesn’t her Rosemary Scented Goat’s Milk Soap sound divine?
A few months ago, ABC 13 filmed me crafting a few projects at my home for their Live Well Network show, “Deals.” This morning KTRK channel 13 used one of my projects, along with other great ideas, in their “Last Minute Mother’s Day Ideas” segment. Mine is the picture transfer project.
The full segment that I filmed with “Deals” will air sometime this summer. I’ll be sure to keep you posted.
For the last several years, we have spent Mother’s Day at the beach. I look forward to that day far more than any fancy lunch, breakfast in bed or even a pedicure. It is one of the most relaxing days of the year for me.
