I can’t help but think about how this is the last “normal” weekend before the holiday rush. It makes me feel like I need to savor every minute of it, starting tonight.
We’ll start of this chilly weekend with a warm pot of chicken and dumplings, shared with friends of course.
And I think I’ll have my favorite night-cap; (does anyone use that phrase anymore) red wine and chocolate.
Yes, after living in fast forward these past few weeks, I’m definitely ready to rewind real slow.
Or to put it another way, slowing down the french country way. The French seem to embody the work hard, play hard way of life. And I love that my french country kitchen evokes that warm, lively spirit that reminds me what life is all about.
I’m sharing more of my thoughts on ”Living With a French Country Flair” at Metropolitan Organizing today. I hope to see you over there!
Have a great weekend and I’ll see you in class,
