emember how exciting it was to check the mail when you were a kid?

She was so excited to discover our first Christmas cards in the mail.   And I have to admit, I was just as excited.   I had secretly been looking forward to getting that first card

This year I reserved a bowl just for the occasion.

While her formal education is in teaching, she discovered her talent for design at a young age and is a self-taught decorator. Mrs. Hines' DIY spirit has earned her appearances on the show Deals which airs on the Live Well Network. She continues to teach and inspire on her popular Lifestyle blog, Mrs. Hines' Class. Homemaking is Mrs. Hines' first love. So, when she isn't decorating or writing, you can find her at home watching television with Mr. Hines or trying to keep up with her teenaged daughter.

  1. Great ideas, thanks! I still “do” Christmas cards here, so many people don’t any more. Oh well, I like opening the mailbox to something other than bills & flyers! It’s nice to put the cards out on display too, it’s like you’re treasuring them!

  2. Great ideas! I love having the cards out on display. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Great ideas, Sharon! I have a snowman that I bought last year at Pier One that holds cards but next year I’m making one.
