Festive Nutcracker Display

It’s like Joe’s Crab Shack circa 1992 all over again.

Everyone was dancing on the table while I stood at my chair moving to the beat of the music.

When all of a sudden, I felt myself being lifted up onto the table.  I turned around to see that it was my Dad.

He knew.

He knew that even though I am often reserved, I’m also a fun, party girl who sometimes likes to dance on tables.

My nutcracker display is kind of like that.  Even though they stand tall and guarded, they are also colorful and festive; ready for a party.

Maybe I’ll even get up on the table and dance to the beat of the drummers drumming.
