I’m in love with cottages. I have this inexplicable attraction to them. Maybe it’s the multipurpose spaces, or the covered porches or the comfortable feel…or all of that. To me a cottage just says, “Welcome”. I’m lucky enough to live in my very own cottage in a cottage-style neighborhood complete with sidewalks, a tree-lined boulevard and back alleys.
We moved into my dream home in the summer of 2007. It’s hard to believe how much time has passed since the keys were handed over to us. This is the first house that we have ever built. I’ve been enjoying customizing it and making it mine ever since.
