If all I do in a day is make my bed and cook dinner, then I feel like I’ve had a fairly productive day.
Yesterday, I came close to doing neither. Motivated by my 31 Days to Finished series, I made my bed even though it was already 4 o’clock in the afternoon.
Knowing my husband was on his way home, my thoughts turned toward dinner. Tomato Basil Sauce served over Spaghetti Squash and a Chopped Salad was on the menu.
But I just didn’t feel like going to the trouble. I almost texted Matt to say that it was going to be a pizza night.
Instead, I decided that I could handle cooking corn on the cob and I would ask Matt to pick up a rotisserie chicken on the way home.
But, that chopped salad started to sound really good, so I decided I could muster up the energy to make one, using fresh fruits from the Farmer’s Market.
