One of the easiest way to update a room is by painting it.
This vintage chest had a poor stain job on it, so I decided to give it a makeover.
from something old to something blue.
I kept the original hardware, but updated it with gold *Rub N’ Buff.
But walls and furniture is just the beginning of what you can do with paint. The right paint colors gave a French twist to these standard yellow straw laundry baskets.
A little paint helped turn two basic Izea Billy Bookcases into custom built-ins,

gave new life to old picture frames, and most recently I pulled out my *craft paints and *Chalky paint to dye curtains, update old drawer handles and turn an Victorian style art canvas into something more modern.
