We have wanted wood floors for our entire homeowner life. On days that we couldn’t stand the thought of living another day with our stained, wrinkled, matted down carpet, we’d imagine our home with wood floors.
Over the years we’ve browsed, and priced wood floors. And, we debated over whether to save money by installing the floors ourselves…when the time came.
After thirteen years, one of our biggest home renovation dreams comes true, and we just can’t believe the changes!
And I’ll tell you what, when the time came we chose not to do it ourselves. We just did not have the time, energy or expertise for a job of this scale. And, I wasn’t willing to sacrifice quality on a wood floor installation.
Sometimes your time is better spent by hiring a professional…”
So, we did.
And in just three days we had this…
These wood floors are the finishing touch that makes the rest of the house stand out; adding the warmth to my white walls,
the cozy to our blankets
the sexy to my dining room…
even the dust looks quaint on wood floors.
And, two weeks later, I am still in awe…we have wood floors.
I had such a pleasant experience working with Carpet One. From the very first encounter to the last, I couldn’t get over how friendly everyone was. I love knowing that everyone I met is local…I could run into Bernadette at the Pilates studio. And, I wanted to invite Bobby in for a glass of wine when he dropped off some floor samples…but, I didn’t lest he think me unprofessional.
I suppose me feeling like I have gained new friends means that they did a great job of welcoming me into their store, helping me choose from the great selection, reassuring me with their vast knowledge and expertise, having a healthy living installation process and guaranteeing my satisfaction.
This whole experience has been life changing; I feel differently about my house and in my house…kind of like I should be on an episode of “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.” I highly recommend it.
And, I highly recommend Carpet One. If you’re looking for a little lifestyle change, their Don’t Do It Yourself (#DDIY) flooring sale lasts until April 19, 2015. They also offer an ongoing $100 Instant Savings Coupon (of which we took advantage because we are neither rich nor famous).
See you in class,
